When you are watching your figure or when you are on a diet, you will probable need some snacks between meals to keep hunger and cravings at bay. These snacks need to be both diet friendly and delicious. But will all the unhealthy and diet sabotaging snacks that are available, how do one find the right diet friendly snack? Right here! You will find 10 diet friendly snacks that will keep you full between meals and that won’t make you pile on pounds.

  • 1. A small tub of fat free yogurt – Yogurt is high in calcium and in protein. The calcium aids weight loss and the e protein helps to build muscle and it also keep you full.
  • 2. A handful of dried fruit – Dried fruit is high in fiber and delicious. The fiber keeps you fuller for longer.
  • 3. Whole wheat crackers with fat free cottage cheese and tomato – This snack is very delicious. But you have to keep the cottage cheese in your office fridge nearby to make your delicious snack.
  • 4. A handful of almonds – Have a handful of almonds each day. Almonds are said to aid weight loss.
  • 5. Any type of fruit – With the wide variety of fruit that are available these days, you will never be out of ideas for fruity snacks.
  • 6. Vegetable sticks- Vegetables are low in calories and is thus a great in between meals snack. Chop a few up (like carrots, celery, cucumber and tomato) and pack it with lunch.
  • 7. Fat free fruit smoothies- Whip up a delicious smoothie made from frozen fruit and fat free yogurt. It is a great and filling snack.
  • 8. Low calorie breakfast bars – Have a look for low calorie breakfast bars and keep a few of them in your office drawer.
  • 9. Cup of vegetable soup – Vegetable soup (wither store bough instant or home made) is a great way to fill up between or before meals.
  • 10.Diet hot chocolate -This is a great after meals snack that is both low fat and low calories.

These snacks are sure to keep you full and satisfied between meals. They are both very tasty and diet friendly and won’t make you to gain any weight. Keep a few of them nearby or pack them with lunch and you won’t have hunger pangs ever again.
