You can then apply it horizontally for a finishing touch.  Be warned not to share your mascara with others because this can be a carrier of organisms that can cause infection.

At the end of the day, no matter how tired you get never sleep with your mascara or any make up for that matter on.  You always need to wash your face.  Bear in mind that eyes are fragile, therefore you need to be very keen in cleaning it.  Avoid pulling and tugging.  You can use a wash cloth to clean the eyes thoroughly and gently.  When shopping for mascara and trying on a sample product make sure that the tester has a disposable brush.  It is always necessary to be sanitary at all times especially on things that touch your skin.

There are a lot of brands with different features when looking for mascaras.  You just have to make sure that you will be able to use it and not just stack it in your shelve after a single use.
