Themes and Tips for Planning Wedding Receptions

Whether a couple chooses to have a large wedding reception or private party, the place should be a blend their own personalities and a theme. A great way to get started is for the couple to brainstorm things that interest them and connect them with a common theme. Themes that are really popular right now are beaches, Arabian nights, and Italian weddings. It really doesn’t matter what the theme is but it’s best that it represents both the bride and groom.
Planning a wedding can be stressful, but it’s important that even if you have a wedding planner that you prioritize so you can make sure you’re getting the most out of your time and budget. There are so many ways to curb costs at a wedding, and it would be a shame to miss out on these opportunities because you were ill informed. If you start to get stressed out a wedding planner is really worth it- they are familiar with all the things you’ll need for your wedding and have recommendations. If you don’t have enough money to take on this kind of expense, delegate tasks to your wedding party. If you’re nervous about some members getting too involved, there are lots of tasks that you can assign where they’ll have to do it your way. Centerpieces are a great example of this. Homemade centerpieces are rising as a popular way to save money- just choose the kind you want, make an example, and then teach someone else to do it for you. It’s a great way to save time and make others feel included in your special day!
Although it’s easy to become overwhelmed, make sure you don’t forget the little things. Table arrangement are example of something that could easily be overlooked as a mundane and unimportant aspect- but it can change the whole mood of the reception! Oval tables suggest sophistication and elegance, while clusters of tables set people up for interaction. If you don’t want to figure it out all yourself, Houston wedding venues are notorious for being extremely accommodating to their brides. The Pelazio, Magnolia Hotel, The Bell Tower on 34th, and the Four Season are popular wedding venues in Houston.
Choosing CZ Rings For An Engagement

For many young people the day they get married is the best of there lives so far and many girls dream of the day when a man will get down on one knee and pop the question. When that happens they hope they will be shown a beautiful gold ring set with a huge diamond that they can show off to all their friends to prove how much their man loves them.
Unfortunately, these days not all of us can afford to blow a fortune on a ring when there are so many other expenses that need to be considered when a wedding is coming up. Its often not the case that the brides parents are going to pay for it all, so the couple will need to budget to ensure that they are capable of meeting all the required costs.
With that in mind you can now consider replacing the traditional diamond with CZ engagement rings, which might not have the prestige of the real thing, but they look just as good to the untrained eye.
If you are unfamiliar with CZ rings, all you need to know is that they are a lab created version of the diamond that can only be told apart from the real thing by a jeweller. That’s why more people than ever are willing to use this imitation gemstone for an engagement ring.
In the past they weren’t quite as perfect as they are today and it was quite easy to tell the difference between the real and the fake. The only thing you have to be aware of is that these gemstones don’e age are well as diamonds, which will always look as good as the day you bought them due to how hard they are. With a cubic zirconia ring you will have to take a little care to ensure that they don’t loose their sparkle. If you can do that then you will never regret all that money you save when you decide to buy one instead of a diamond.
Add Some Comfort in Your Wedding with Wedding Flip Flops

As a wedding planner, I am aware that a lot of things go into even the simplest weddings. Decorations, foods, flowers, and the attire of the whole wedding entourage have to be considered. But one of the most important things that should be considered is the comfort of the couple. I usually get to deliver that with wedding flip flops – especially if it is going to be a beach wedding.
Weddings are very formal in tradition but these days, the fashion has gone from traditional to casual. I believe that this is also due to the fact that there is a need to be practical and therefore to do away with the usual grand traditional wedding ceremonies. Aside from that, couples these days are becoming adventurous and have the most bizarre wedding ideas in order to make theirs as unique as possible.
I noticed that beach weddings are a favorite though which is why I have made it a point to order some bride flip flops for my bridal shop as well since this is the growing trend. They are able to give two important things – style and comfort – something that everyone would want in their wedding shoes.
If the wedding is going to be done in the sand I always tell the couple that wearing flip flops is the best choice since they won’t have to walk awkwardly in the sand this way. The first thing the bride would worry about is how flip flops would match their attires. There is no problem with that since these flip flops are not plain – they can be very stylish and can come in different colors to match the dresses of your bridesmaids. They can also be studded with stones or beads. You can even have them custom made these days if you want them to match your dress entirely.
There are wedding flip flops also available for the groom. Compared to the bride flip flops the groom’s flip flops would be plain yet suitable for the occasion. They are typically in earthy colors like tan, black and shades of brown.
One big advantage about this is that you get to remain relaxed throughout the ceremony until you reach the reception. The comfort that these wedding flip flops can bring is enough to make the couple last through the whole night with much ease and enough energy for the honeymoon as well.

Pink is a very popular color for weddings because it is a color of love. With Valentine’s Day coming up, there are many weddings taking place to celebrate the holiday, and pink is the color to have. Be aware that pink is a very overpowering color and a little bit goes a long way. Try not to over do it. When you are planning your cute pink wedding centerpieces, be consistent with the shade of your pink that you choose. If you would like to use pink as an accent, it looks great coupled with white or black.
There are many different flowers that look great in pink centerpieces, there are many roses that are white with pink tips that make for great centerpieces, or even bouquets. If you are having a wedding on or near Valentine’s Day, you can use candy conversation hearts to decorate a jar or vase. This is a great idea to get creative and not spend a lot of money on your pink cheap wedding centerpieces. This way, your friends and family can enjoy them when they take them home and be entertained at the table while they eat.
Often times, feathers come in several different colors whether you choose to use boa feathers or ostrich feathers, you can get them in most any color or have them dyed. These can be a great addition to a tall vase with colored marbles or river rocks.
If you are having a wedding in the spring time, a perfect spring flower for your pink wedding centerpieces are stargazer lilies. They are a brilliant pink in the inside of the petal and then have white that surrounds them for a stunning color combination. Their green leaves really help to fill the bowl and make them look even more bright.
