However, since it is completed by hand and is time consuming it is a more expensive finish. However, because it is by hand and generally made to order the customer has a lot of say in how it is finished and can achieve the desired look for their home. The customer can choose to have the wood scraped in a light, medium or heavy manner. The light scraping of the wood achieves an aged finish, whereas the heavy scraping of the wood results in a more rustic finish. The choices and options available to one who is choosing hand scraped flooring are endless and can result in finish that is uniquely for you.
