Harley Davidson Seats

The Joys of owning a Harley Davidson can quickly become a giant pain in the rear end, literally not figuratively. Stock Harley Davidson Seats are almost so uncomfortable that they should be against the law, of course, that might be a bit extreme but you get the idea.

These OE seat designs are meant to look good and last a long time so that they won’t create any kind of a warranty issue and they do that quite well. I have owned over a dozen Harley Davidsons in my lifetime and replaced the seat on every single one of them. They all looked great, they all appeared as though they would be comfortable, but none of them lived up to that standard.

So knowing that you will almost assuredly be replacing the seat on your Harley Davidson motorcycle, it would behoove you to do some research so that you make the right decision when replacing your seat. Harley Davidson Seats sell from $125 dollars at the bottom of the price scale to as much as 1k dollars at the high end of the spectrum.

In my experience the best way to determine the quality of a part or accessory is to find out what other owners think about it the seats that they have purchased. While this is not fool proof, if you look at enough reviews or talk to enough people, then you most assuredly will get a pretty good idea of the comfort level and quality of a particular Harley Davidson Seat.

Some of the most popular seats come from aftermarket companies like Mustang and Corbin and depending on the style of Harley that you own, one of my most favorite seats in the world is a Mustang Touring Harley Seat. Mustang does a great job of eliminating hot spots that can develop from sitting too long and they simply look great. That’s my opinion, now you just need to make up yours.
