Major Wii Console Discount Cuts Price To $149

When the Wii was released, Nintendo began by pricing this exact same package for $250, which was probably high for many potential buyers other than hardcore gamers. Last year, they lowered the price to $199 to attract more buyers for the holiday season. This new discount makes the third price cut for the Wii available at many retail stores.

It’s rumored that this price discount is due to Nintendo wanting to push sales of the new black Wii console.
